[Action]

[Early in the evening of July 9th, Susan Richards wakes up in a very, very strange place, an unfamiliar couch. In YOUR living room. She blinks and looks around, extremely confused. When this strange, blond woman sees you...her eyes go wide she disappears, clothes and all. Astute listeners may hear the sounds of her feet as she gets up and moves away from you and the couch.]

Wha! What on Earth?! WHO are you and WHERE am I?

[Susan's voice is pretty demanding for an invisible person who just woke up in your house, and it seems to be coming from all around you, her powers distorting it.

Maybe you could help talk some sense into her? Explain the situation? Perhaps you're feeling pretty mad? Break time, go nuts! This isn't locked to anyone!]

[Much, much later, Susan's voice will appear over the journal after she's collected herself and gotten out of whoever's house she wound up in]

Hello everyone. This is Susan Richards of the Fantastic Four. If there are any members of the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, the X-Men, or even anyone that just recognizes my name I would appreciate it if you would get in touch with me. Hell, even if you are just feeling helpful and are willing to share information, I'd really appreciate it. I've just arrived and I need help getting my bearings. I don't want to impose, but I really need some answers.

Also, if anyone comes across a blue jumpsuit with a 4 on it, I'd ask that they not touch it, its made of highly unstable molecules that can react oddly to anyone that isn't me.

[Her voice isn't terribly upset, more confused. Its not like she's never woken up in strange places or been in rough situations alone before. Thats...sort of what the Fantastic Four do!]

(OOC: Feel free to break time with the action portion of the post! I've got nobody in particular who needs to find her so she can wake up in anyone's living room that wants an Invisible Woman)

Okay... Sue. [This is definitely going to be awkward, considering Peter doesn't really know her at all.] You know about the...?

[He makes a biting motion with his hands.]

Yes. The...arachnid. You came out to my family about it a long, long time ago. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone.

[Sue offers a hand]

And its nice to meet you. Officially. Again. Reality jumping is confusing.

Thanks, it really means a lot. [He takes the hand a little hesitantly, but he understands that she's honest and genuine about all this. That marks the second person in the village who knows about his secret identity.]

Nice to meet you too. I'm guessing... "reality jumping" is a common thing for you?

Something like that. My husband Doctor Reed Richards, is a theoretical physicist, and so that means the Fantastic Four gets to deal with the nonsense that happens in the wake of his experiments. Sometimes this includes other realities.

[... Suddenly, Luceti doesn't seem nearly as bad. In fact, this sounds like for the period of time that he might be stuck here, he can learn a lot.]

Really? Do you know much about the stuff your husband does? I'd love to learn some of it.

Me? Haha! No, not really. Its WAY over my head. I had trouble with high school math, so I avoided science while I was in college. I leave the thinking to Reed, and take care of the common sense things. Like reminding him to eat, and calling him on his nonsense.

[Peter chuckles a bit, his hesitance replaced with genuine friendliness.]

You sound a lot like someone else I know. [Without the whole being a scientist part. But Dr. Conners' wife seems to do the same thing for him.] It does sound like some pretty complicated stuff, if it leads to other realities.

Theoretical physics? Yes, it is. Reed's one of the few scientists working in the field, and he's very, very gifted. But sometimes his research gets us into trouble.

[She smiles]

So, have you guessed what my powers are yet?

[Sheepish laugh. He can be a little open about this with her, he feels.]

You mean... there's more to your powers than just turning invisible.

Mmmhmmm. Hold out your hand.

[If he does so, he'll find himself touching an invisible barrier...]

[He slowly holds out his hand, expecting something along the lines of her taking his to turn him invisible, but just touches the barrier and reels it back.]

Whoa! You can create barriers!?

Yes. Force fields and constructs. Its probably not as much fun as being a teenage Spiderman, but its pretty handy.

Aha... yeah, fun. [He almost had his identity outed, and his "bro" got sent to a mental ward because of him. That's the exact opposite of fun.]

Relax, Peter. I was joking. I know what its like being different, you know? The Fantastic Four have public identities. I have to disguise myself just to go outside...

Public identities... sounds like a pain. [And dangerous.] Yeah, I don't think I could ever afford a public identity like that. You're a lot stronger than I am.

Haha, maybe now, but don't forget I've got twenty years experience on you easily. When you get older, at least where I'm from, you're a pretty well respected hero. Don't put yourself down, Peter.

[She smiles kindly, neglecting intentionally to mention the recent attempts on Mary Jane's life]

Yea, once you save Jonah's life a couple of times he starts to warm up. Not to mention becoming an Avenger. Tony's got good PR.

[Avenger. That's familiar. Steve mentioned it as a superhero team.]

Whoa, whoa. I become an Avenger? Seriously?

Yes. And for a while part of the Fantastic Four as well.

[Oh, Peter. Stop being such an amazing superhero.]

Wow! Do I just join superhero teams left and right when I get older?

No, the Avengers have a Reservists list, and the FF are a little different than the usual teams. We...explore and deal more with science than fighting super-villains.

[Ouch. On the reserve team.

But wait--] Does that mean I get to help out with science stuff? [See all that excitement?]

Yes, it does. You're fairly well respected in your field of study, though...as Peter Parker not the wall-crawler. And to be honest dear, I don't know what that field is. Most of the science stuff is over my head.

[Peter starts to laguh excitedly for a moment before calming himself down with a goofy smile.]

I guess I'll find out! Gotta admit, it's pretty cool to hear about this stuff.
