First Shield: A lack of unstable molecules...[Action/Voice]

[Early in the evening of July 9th, Susan Richards wakes up in a very, very strange place, an unfamiliar couch. In YOUR living room. She blinks and looks around, extremely confused. When this strange, blond woman sees you...her eyes go wide she disappears, clothes and all. Astute listeners may hear the sounds of her feet as she gets up and moves away from you and the couch.]

Wha! What on Earth?! WHO are you and WHERE am I?

[Susan's voice is pretty demanding for an invisible person who just woke up in your house, and it seems to be coming from all around you, her powers distorting it.

Maybe you could help talk some sense into her? Explain the situation? Perhaps you're feeling pretty mad? Break time, go nuts! This isn't locked to anyone!]

[Much, much later, Susan's voice will appear over the journal after she's collected herself and gotten out of whoever's house she wound up in]

Hello everyone. This is Susan Richards of the Fantastic Four. If there are any members of the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, the X-Men, or even anyone that just recognizes my name I would appreciate it if you would get in touch with me. Hell, even if you are just feeling helpful and are willing to share information, I'd really appreciate it. I've just arrived and I need help getting my bearings. I don't want to impose, but I really need some answers.

Also, if anyone comes across a blue jumpsuit with a 4 on it, I'd ask that they not touch it, its made of highly unstable molecules that can react oddly to anyone that isn't me.

[Her voice isn't terribly upset, more confused. Its not like she's never woken up in strange places or been in rough situations alone before. Thats...sort of what the Fantastic Four do!]

(OOC: Feel free to break time with the action portion of the post! I've got nobody in particular who needs to find her so she can wake up in anyone's living room that wants an Invisible Woman)

[Sue nods and walks over to the couch, picking up a similar book...that has her name on it]

This, yes?

Yeah, that's it. Think of it as your new phone plan.

[He opens up his own journal, flipping through it to try and track down the guide. He'll explain what he can in the meantime.]

Okay, uh... this is another world. Don't know how we got here, but there's a few hundred people here trapped in this place, from a bunch of different worlds and universes. We all get these when we arrive for some reason. [He jerks a thumb over his shoulder, turning a little to show off his little blue wings.] It's called Luceti.

Another world? Like another dimension, or more like the Negative Zone?

[She'd felt the wings, and she turns and inspects them]

Oh...thats what those are? What...on earth are they for?

You got me. [He shrugs slightly, lips pursing.] Whoever brought here isn't all that forthcoming about why we need wings. And I don't know if it's another world or a dimension or what- we're stuck in a barrier around the village, so there's no way to see most of the world.

I take it they can't be removed? Do you think it would be bad if I just made them invisible?

[She tries this, and nothing bad happens. It feels a bit weird]

So, this barrier. How strong is it? and how big is the enclosure?

...Wow, I didn't even think of that.

[SHE'S SO LUCKY, THAT'S REALLY COOL. 8|]

And yeah, you can't get rid of the wings. They keep us alive here somehow.

Strange, but, alright.

[She nods]

And about the barrier?

Tougher than I thought it would be. I tried everything I could to break it or get past it, but I couldn't do it.

And, forgive me Billy for drawing a blank, but...you're a sorceror right? Like Stephen Strange?

[She knows OF you, but not much about you]

[PFFFFFFFFT]

Oh god, I wish I was like Dr. Strange.

[Okay, yeah, that was probably a little too fanboyish.]

...Uh, but yeah. I do magic.

Haha, don't we all?

[She laughs herself and eases into a nearby chair]

If you do magic, and it didn't work then I'm going to guess that my powers would be similarly useless against the barrier?

[He shrugs.]

I don't know. I think anything's worth a shot, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't work either.

Then tomorrow, I'll give it a shot. How big is the enclosure? Are we in some sort of house sized prison plane? Or is it bigger?

[She asks because she's been in one before, of course...DAMMIT REED]

No, bigger than a house. I think it takes a few days to get from one end to the other, and there's mountains and an ocean on the east side. It's not bad for a prison, I guess.

[He trails off there. He's seen worse.]

That's something, then. Better than last time.

[Sue's eyebrow raises as he trails off. Could he be...god she hopes not. Reed...]

Billy, what year is it where you're from?

[...Oh, wow. He honestly should have expected that question; finding out when other people are from, chronologically, is kind of a staple question these days.

Still... she's kind of an enemy, as far as sides go. But maybe she's beyond that? Or before it happened?]

It's... 2011. Mid-spring.

[He pauses, and then adds hastily, just in case-]

But there's no war here! I mean, there is, but not with supers. And there's no law. And no prison. And...

[And he's rambling.]

[Oh, Oh LORD! She hadn't even thought about that!]

Billy...its late spring, 2011 for me.

[She'd just heard about Reed's prison...and SHIELD, and...oh it was awful]

[But his haste, it starts to make things in her head turn, thoughts and gears. Billy Kaplan, Young Avengers. They were with Steve. She'd met with...Patriot...at least when she'd met up with the other rebels.]

You don't have to worry...not about me. I'm on Steve's side, not Tony's

[She's just full of surprises today, isn't she? So for a long moment, he can do nothing but stare.]

You're... what? Since when?

[Has that much changed since he was captured?]

Since I found out Reed was building a prison in the Negative Zone.

[Flat. Emotionless. Followed by a heavy sigh.]

I didn't like the idea of turning in our friends to begin with. Then I found out about that. We had a fight. I left, and took a good portion of the Baxter Building with me.

[At the mention of the prison, he visibly winces. Still no good memories of that place, especially since he'd already been imprisoned during the war. He really doesn't want to go back there.

It takes him a long moment to find the words, or the courage, to respond to that.]

I'm... sorry it got that bad.

Its not your fault. It's Reed's. Don't apologize.

[She shakes her head, and the wince isn't lost on her.]

I'm sorry it was so tough on you too, kiddo. Believe me, it bothers me that things got that bad for everyone and I hated that the FF stayed out of it as long as we did. But after Johnny was attacked...

[Oh god, he'd almost forgotten about that.]

The war's been hard on everyone. Super heroes fighting super heroes... it's wrong. [Another pause, and then-] How's he doing? I only saw it on the news...

Stable. And awake. He's still sleeping a lot but he'll make it.

[She shakes her head]

How about the Young Avengers? I'm afraid the news has been pretty sparse about most of you other than you're all 'dangerous terrorist rebels' [Air quotes around that] and should be turned in on sight.

[Well, that's good to hear. He nods at first, but at her next question, he purses his lips and glances away uneasily.]

I... don't know. I hope they're okay... I was knocked out and captured at the Geffen-Meyer chemical plant- Iron Man's big trap for the Anti-Reg side. I haven't seen them since then.
