[Early in the evening of July 9th, Susan Richards wakes up in a very, very strange place, an unfamiliar couch. In YOUR living room. She blinks and looks around, extremely confused. When this strange, blond woman sees you...her eyes go wide she disappears, clothes and all. Astute listeners may hear the sounds of her feet as she gets up and moves away from you and the couch.]

Wha! What on Earth?! WHO are you and WHERE am I?

[Susan's voice is pretty demanding for an invisible person who just woke up in your house, and it seems to be coming from all around you, her powers distorting it.

Maybe you could help talk some sense into her? Explain the situation? Perhaps you're feeling pretty mad? Break time, go nuts! This isn't locked to anyone!]

[Much, much later, Susan's voice will appear over the journal after she's collected herself and gotten out of whoever's house she wound up in]

Hello everyone. This is Susan Richards of the Fantastic Four. If there are any members of the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, the X-Men, or even anyone that just recognizes my name I would appreciate it if you would get in touch with me. Hell, even if you are just feeling helpful and are willing to share information, I'd really appreciate it. I've just arrived and I need help getting my bearings. I don't want to impose, but I really need some answers.

Also, if anyone comes across a blue jumpsuit with a 4 on it, I'd ask that they not touch it, its made of highly unstable molecules that can react oddly to anyone that isn't me.

[Her voice isn't terribly upset, more confused. Its not like she's never woken up in strange places or been in rough situations alone before. Thats...sort of what the Fantastic Four do!]

(OOC: Feel free to break time with the action portion of the post! I've got nobody in particular who needs to find her so she can wake up in anyone's living room that wants an Invisible Woman)

Y'mean back home? [He chuckles lightly.] That obvious m'from the city, huh?

Yep, I'm from Upstate New York myself, but I'd recognize a New York accent anywhere. I've lived downtown for a while now.

It's always cool, meetin' somebody here who ain't too far away, back home. Even if they're sometimes from a diff'rent time or version a' New York than me. Version don' sound right, but y'know what I mean?

I do. Its not that strange an idea, really. My family and I have a fairly regular habit of winding up in other dimensions.

Well, that was thinking of things strictly from the perspecttive of his world where, sadly, superheroes exist only in fiction. Of course, he intends to treat her as any other human being.]

What's the coolest place y'ever been to?

The coolest place? Probably the universe where the Ice Age never ended. It was really cool.

The most interesting place? Probably Attilan. The capital of the Inhumans.

[He struggles to decide which world to inquire about.]

...Inhumans, huh? So what's the deal with the place? Why'djya choose that?

Attilan was the first real adventure we'd had with a happy ending. We met and befriended the Royal Family of Attilan, and when they were betrayed by a jealous subject we helped. After that, things changed. We stayed good friends with the Inhumans. Black Bolt, Medusa, Crystal and Gorgon especially.

Medusa? Y'mean like the lady with hair made outta snakes an' who can turn people t'stone?

She's got the same name, but no. Medusa is an inhuman, and her hair moves on its own. Its...sort of alive, in a way.

What's the diff'rence 'tween a human an' an inhuman? [Besides sounding different, that is.]

An Inhuman has been exposed to a type of gas that alters their body. Sort of like being a mutant, but its not natural.

So I could become Inhuman too if I was around this gas? ...Huh.

[Sounds almost a little like a plot to some zombie flick, he muses. Of course, he can't help but wonder in which way he'd change - would he acquire any neat little abilities, or would he transform into some kind of 'monster' worthy of a B-movie?]

Actually, probably not. You're too old, I think. Most of them expose themselves to it when they turn ten or eleven. Right around puberty.

[An apologetic smile]

But if you wanted super-powers theres always the radioactive spider route.

Y'mean... like Spider-man? Heh, no thanks.

[He huffs a laugh.]

Bet it'd be pretty awesome, swingin' 'round an' stickin' t'walls, but... it'd be a huge deal tryin' t'save a lot a' people an' jugglin' that with keepin' stuff secret. I ain't cut out for that kind a' thing.

Well, its not for everyone. What do you do back home Mac?

I box - I'm livin' m'dream.

[Even as he says it, it's a little hard for him to believe it, and how far he's come along (with Doc's guidance, naturally). It's the kind of thing that makes him grin like a doofus until his face hurts.]

Oh? Professionally? Impressive! That was Ben's dream too, before...well...y'know. Cosmic radiation.

Yeah, went pro a few years ago.

[He peters off, his beaming smile fading as he tries to place the name to an image in his mind.]

Ben? Y'mean- - oh.

[He nearly blurts out, "y'mean 'the Thing', the tough orange guy?", but then he manages to bite it back, supposing that might be a little rude.]

Yes, I mean the big orange guy. Ben Grimm, the Thing. Its alright, it is his name. He did get to participate in the Intergalactic Boxing League though.

There's boxin' in space too? Whoa. That's hardcore...

[He lets out a breath and breaks into a grin, shaking his head incredulously as if he'd been invited to get involved. Oh, if only he knew of that Mike Tyson's Intergalactic Power Punch game...]

Can't imagine goin' toe-t'toe with real aliens... but if they stick to the rules w'got here, like no rabbit-punchin', I guess it ain't too scary, huh?

Well, its held on a planet, but yes, there's intergalactic boxing. I recall Ben fighting Hercules, and winning, actually.

Sounds like if Ben'd plant me into the ground if he caught me with an overhand punch.
