[Early in the evening of July 9th, Susan Richards wakes up in a very, very strange place, an unfamiliar couch. In YOUR living room. She blinks and looks around, extremely confused. When this strange, blond woman sees you...her eyes go wide she disappears, clothes and all. Astute listeners may hear the sounds of her feet as she gets up and moves away from you and the couch.]

Wha! What on Earth?! WHO are you and WHERE am I?

[Susan's voice is pretty demanding for an invisible person who just woke up in your house, and it seems to be coming from all around you, her powers distorting it.

Maybe you could help talk some sense into her? Explain the situation? Perhaps you're feeling pretty mad? Break time, go nuts! This isn't locked to anyone!]

[Much, much later, Susan's voice will appear over the journal after she's collected herself and gotten out of whoever's house she wound up in]

Hello everyone. This is Susan Richards of the Fantastic Four. If there are any members of the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, the X-Men, or even anyone that just recognizes my name I would appreciate it if you would get in touch with me. Hell, even if you are just feeling helpful and are willing to share information, I'd really appreciate it. I've just arrived and I need help getting my bearings. I don't want to impose, but I really need some answers.

Also, if anyone comes across a blue jumpsuit with a 4 on it, I'd ask that they not touch it, its made of highly unstable molecules that can react oddly to anyone that isn't me.

[Her voice isn't terribly upset, more confused. Its not like she's never woken up in strange places or been in rough situations alone before. Thats...sort of what the Fantastic Four do!]

(OOC: Feel free to break time with the action portion of the post! I've got nobody in particular who needs to find her so she can wake up in anyone's living room that wants an Invisible Woman)

He's not an easy man to get along with, I'm not surprised.

[He doesn't really hesitate there, his gaze dropping to the table, a resolute expression crossing his face.]

He didn't... do anything wrong. Mr. Stark- Tony- he hurt a lot of people, doing what he did. Maybe his intentions were good, maybe it was supposed to be for the public, but it just... it didn't work. And if that's something this Iron Man could prevent in his world, then he should. But Cap... I don't know. It wouldn't feel right. It wouldn't be fair to either of them.

I dunno, but he shampoos his moustache!

Ahh, alright. Well, whats your name then? Since you know mine.

[He seems really friendly, so...]

That I'm aware of? No. There are some events that seem more predetermined than others. Like, for example, my husband and his friend Benjamin always end up in some accident in space. My brother and I don't always.

Yes, Steve doesn't need to know. And neither does the village at large.

[Sue offers an apologetic smile]

Billy, Tony should find out. But he should find out in time, and not now. Not with so many new people coming into the village. I'm given to understand that it comes in waves. If there is a way it can be prevented, then we should help him do it. But let him settle first. When that happens, we can talk to him together.

I'm sure its a grand mustache!

[Note to self, avoid anyone named Eggman...]

"Just the one friend. My apprentice, Molly. The rest, I only befriended after I got here."

And then I alienated a couple of them, and now one of them was ready to kill me if I slipped up again and another probably never wanted to see me again.

And the bitch of it was, I really couldn't blame either of them- okay, Harry, focus. Invisible Woman is in your living room trying to hold a conversation here.

"But the locals are pretty friendly, so there's no shortage there."

Well, I appreciate your being honest with me. I'm sorry about the mess.

[She gestures to the clutter she'd caused with her force-waves, and waves a hand, the objects already starting to right themselves at least thanks to some invisible constructs...]

Is there any sort of leadership in town?

"Nah, we mostly just do our own thing. Our gracious hosts take care of most of the necessary infrastructure- food, water, electricity, and the like- and nobody commits many crimes, because who wants to commit a crime in a city full of wizards, superheroes, and Jedi? If we ever do need to act as a group, folks mostly just get together and talk it out. Decide democratically."

[Well, he certainly wasn't going to broadcast it. That's not fair no matter how justified it could be. He does pause to consider that one, though, because what he experienced during the Civil War is pretty damned private for him, and as much as he might worship the heroes of his world (and more significantly, his childhood), they're still strangers. He hasn't even talked about what happened to some of the people closest to him.

This situation's... weird, though. He doesn't know what to think anymore.]

...I'll... I'll think about it. But shouldn't you be more worried about settling in yourself? He's been here for a long time, he knows these alternate universes are weird.

[Its all she can ask of the boy, at least. Sue doesn't want to offend him, he's been a kind person to her after all]

Billy, I'll be alright. Its not me you've got to worry about. Once I'm more up to speed on the goings on around here I'll be right as rain. Remember who my family is. This sort of thing is at least pseudo-normal for me. Parallel realities, alternate universes, and that sort of stuff? Thats just Reed messing around with portals when he shouldn't be. Believe me, when you live with a man like that you learn to be adaptable.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to throw all this at you. We've only just met, and I don't want to pry into your private life. Still, whatever happened to you during the war? I'm sorry. My husband is wrong, and when I get back I intend to knock some sense into him. Tony too.

[She sighs]

God, listen to me. Get some rest, Billy. Enjoy your breakfast. I'll call you for dinner tomorrow.

[Ahaha, he's being such a pill, isn't he? Hearing all that finally makes him smile a little, and he scuffs a hand awkwardly through his hair and shrugs. It's been a lot to take in, and he's still sorting out how to deal with everything that's come up - especially with someone here from his world, now, and the SRA coming up again - but she's been nice, which is a hell of a lot more than he could've expected from a lot of other people from his world right now.

He'll probably be up mulling this one over for a while, but he appreciates the gesture nonetheless.]

Hey... thanks. For the food, and for tomorrow, and... you know. Just talking. We'll figure something out, one way or another.

So something like a universal constant. Guess I should feel a little proud that I've got one going.

Oh, uh, name's Mac, miss. Nice t'meetchya. [And he'd completely forgotten to introduce himself.] If I see y'suit in the shop, I can letchya know. no prob'm.

Well, it looks a bit like nose hair, but he says it's a mustache.

People have said the same thing about New York. Are there really no troublemakers in town?

[Sue stands and nods]

Its no problem. Despite everything, heroics, powers, weird winged villages. You're still a kid, and I'm still a mom.

[And off she goes letting you get some rest]

Its not a bad thing, Peter, it means you're destined for greatness no matter where you go.

Nice to meet you too, Mac. I would appreciate that, the suit's pretty important.

What part of the city are you from?

Haha, that sounds like good fun Ikki. Have you met many other people here like Mister Eggman?

We've bumped heads a few times.

But anyway. Luceti isn't the easiest place to live, but it's usually peaceful. Usually. But the occasional drama is obviously bound to happen. [Though "occasional drama" is kind of an understatement.]

Its better than ending up in a dimension of war. But aside from the Malnosso, is there anything I need to be watching out for? Villains, roughnecks, etc?

Yep, I'm from Upstate New York myself, but I'd recognize a New York accent anywhere. I've lived downtown for a while now.
