[Early in the evening of July 9th, Susan Richards wakes up in a very, very strange place, an unfamiliar couch. In YOUR living room. She blinks and looks around, extremely confused. When this strange, blond woman sees you...her eyes go wide she disappears, clothes and all. Astute listeners may hear the sounds of her feet as she gets up and moves away from you and the couch.]

Wha! What on Earth?! WHO are you and WHERE am I?

[Susan's voice is pretty demanding for an invisible person who just woke up in your house, and it seems to be coming from all around you, her powers distorting it.

Maybe you could help talk some sense into her? Explain the situation? Perhaps you're feeling pretty mad? Break time, go nuts! This isn't locked to anyone!]

[Much, much later, Susan's voice will appear over the journal after she's collected herself and gotten out of whoever's house she wound up in]

Hello everyone. This is Susan Richards of the Fantastic Four. If there are any members of the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, the X-Men, or even anyone that just recognizes my name I would appreciate it if you would get in touch with me. Hell, even if you are just feeling helpful and are willing to share information, I'd really appreciate it. I've just arrived and I need help getting my bearings. I don't want to impose, but I really need some answers.

Also, if anyone comes across a blue jumpsuit with a 4 on it, I'd ask that they not touch it, its made of highly unstable molecules that can react oddly to anyone that isn't me.

[Her voice isn't terribly upset, more confused. Its not like she's never woken up in strange places or been in rough situations alone before. Thats...sort of what the Fantastic Four do!]

(OOC: Feel free to break time with the action portion of the post! I've got nobody in particular who needs to find her so she can wake up in anyone's living room that wants an Invisible Woman)

That's okay, I just figured it's better if I'm up front about it. We're not exactly subtle.

Whoa, whoa. I become an Avenger? Seriously?

Yes. And for a while part of the Fantastic Four as well.

Me too. Being invisible helps.

[She laughs a bit]

Oh? Though...isn't he a Skrull?

[Not fond of them, no sir]

THAT takes me back. Heh, when Namor tried to take over the land...

Doctor...Eggman?

[Billy's smile fades, feeling a sudden wave of defensiveness. Teddy's been nothing but wonderful to him since they met, so the fact that he's a Skrull barely even hits the radar for him as far as defining character traits.]

He's half-Skrull, and half-Kree. And all wonderful. Anyway, he was raised on Earth, so I don't see the problem.

I didn't mean that he couldn't be a good person, Billy. My own brother married a Skrull, remember? I was more asking, so I'd know if he was a shapeshifter.

Um... yeah. He usually looks human- the Hulkling form is just what he can shift into.

Right. I've got nothing against the idea of Skrulls being decent people. They ARE people. Kl'rt the Super Skrull HAS saved my life before too. It is a shame that Galactus devoured their homeworld. Reed tried to talk him out of it, but...

[She trails off, wondering just how much of this Billy actually knew]

Wow! Do I just join superhero teams left and right when I get older?

"I'm not as good at invisibility as my apprentice. I have to do my sneaking the old-fashioned way, typically."

No, no, it's okay. It's interesting. I've read a lot about what other super heroes have done in the past, but getting a firsthand account is an honour.

[He still can't get past the fact that he's having dinner with Susan Richards. Seriously. Seriously.]

No, the Avengers have a Reservists list, and the FF are a little different than the usual teams. We...explore and deal more with science than fighting super-villains.

That's fair. I've had to learn a bit more about that than you might think.

So, do you have any friends or family here?

[She huffs a short laugh]

You know, I don't really know much about your adventures. Care to share?

[Ouch. On the reserve team.

But wait--] Does that mean I get to help out with science stuff? [See all that excitement?]

Yes, it does. You're fairly well respected in your field of study, though...as Peter Parker not the wall-crawler. And to be honest dear, I don't know what that field is. Most of the science stuff is over my head.

He builds robots!

[Oh, wow. Oh wow she wants to hear about him? Pardon the momentary stare.]

Oh, uh... really? I mean, it can't compare with the Fantastic Four at all, we haven't even been together for a year yet. I think we've done alright, though. We fought Kang the Conqueror, this MGH dealer called Mr. Hyde, the Super Skrull, and we averted a Skrull-Kree war with Earth. We had help from the Avengers a lot- we really are still kids, so experience is what we're missing the most. But we're doing our best.
