[Early in the evening of July 9th, Susan Richards wakes up in a very, very strange place, an unfamiliar couch. In YOUR living room. She blinks and looks around, extremely confused. When this strange, blond woman sees you...her eyes go wide she disappears, clothes and all. Astute listeners may hear the sounds of her feet as she gets up and moves away from you and the couch.]

Wha! What on Earth?! WHO are you and WHERE am I?

[Susan's voice is pretty demanding for an invisible person who just woke up in your house, and it seems to be coming from all around you, her powers distorting it.

Maybe you could help talk some sense into her? Explain the situation? Perhaps you're feeling pretty mad? Break time, go nuts! This isn't locked to anyone!]

[Much, much later, Susan's voice will appear over the journal after she's collected herself and gotten out of whoever's house she wound up in]

Hello everyone. This is Susan Richards of the Fantastic Four. If there are any members of the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, the X-Men, or even anyone that just recognizes my name I would appreciate it if you would get in touch with me. Hell, even if you are just feeling helpful and are willing to share information, I'd really appreciate it. I've just arrived and I need help getting my bearings. I don't want to impose, but I really need some answers.

Also, if anyone comes across a blue jumpsuit with a 4 on it, I'd ask that they not touch it, its made of highly unstable molecules that can react oddly to anyone that isn't me.

[Her voice isn't terribly upset, more confused. Its not like she's never woken up in strange places or been in rough situations alone before. Thats...sort of what the Fantastic Four do!]

(OOC: Feel free to break time with the action portion of the post! I've got nobody in particular who needs to find her so she can wake up in anyone's living room that wants an Invisible Woman)

How about resources? What sort of machines do you have access to?

You even sound like him. But, do yourself a favor, and don't overdo it with the scotch, ok? That's something my Tony's struggled with for a long, long time.

Speaking of, is there any place in town I could get something a bit stiffer than coffee? I don't, normally, but this is...pretty weird. Even for me.

I raised my hands.

"Listen. I got a kid back home too. One I've never even met, and some of my deadliest enemies have her. When they took me, I was still trying to find her. But listen, this place, people eventually go back to where they came from. The exact moment they came from, yeah?

So it doesn't matter how long we're here. How long it takes before we get back. Because you're gonna see your kids grow up, and I'm gonna save my little girl. These assholes aren't gonna stop it."

[Aww, but that's part of being a teenager.

Still, he shakes off his surprise and offers her a grateful smile after a moment. It's a pretty awesome suggestion, especially with the quality of his dinner tonight. And it's been pretty lonely eating dinner by himself for the last few months, especially when he's used to such a busy home.]

Wow... yeah, okay. That'd be great.

[She hears you, and the thrumming sound dies down, her face softening again]

You...%!@# it. I'm sorry. Its just. Franklin. Valeria. I'm sorry. I get really worked up about them sometimes. They're, well, you know. But I swear, if I see one of these !%@holes? [She gestures to her head] He's a dead man.

Sure, its no problem. I'm guessing that there are other places to stay, since the book says this is a village? Is housing assigned by the guys holding us? Or, do we pick?

No, you get to pick. I think most of this floor is free, and the building isn't far from the plaza, so if you want to take an apartment here, feel free. It'd make dinner dates a lot easier.

[Said playfully, because they both know it isn't a date in the technical sense.]

"Believe me, ma'am, I'm all about that plan. With an extra helping of 'lit on fire'"

...I have a coffee maker in my apartment if that counts?

In all seriousness, resources are pretty limited. Though I suppose more advanced equipment could be earned if you're willing to go on missions for them.

Yeah. Missions. Every so often the Malnosso will have missions that you can sign up for. Sign ups are voluntary, but usually the mission itself is rather dangerous. From what I understand the Malnosso are constantly at war with people outside of the enclosure known at the Third Party.

The gist is that they want to kill us. And the Malnosso wants to stop them. So every mission is usually foiling the Third Partys plans in some way. For every mission you complete you get points that can be used to buy items that you wouildn't find here regularly. [MAN. This is all a mouthful.]

[Billy blinks, eyes wide, then coughs into a fist, a deep blush crossing his cheeks. Wow, dating Cassie? She's like a sister to him now, it just sounds wrong.]

No, uh- Hulkling, actually.

[Who is definitely not a lady and not the lucky one in the relationship, either.]

Well, like I said, and I guess the same holds true for wizards...when you wake up in a stranger's house in new clothes it stands to reason that you should be ready to defend yourself.

And...hey, I'm sorry about your daughter.

Interesting. Have you...been on any of these missions Bruce?

[Definitely curious, because these seem RIGHT up her alley]

H-Hulkling? Oh. OHHHHHH.

"Hey."

I held up a finger in admonishment.

"Don't apologize. I get home, I'm saving her, and I'm doing it before a single one of those goddamn vampires hurts her. There's nothing to be sorry about."

We-ell, Dr. Eggman and I argued a bit, but mostly I get along with everyone!

I've been on one before. It actually wasn't that bad.
